End User License Agreement

Effective 2026-05-16. Plain English, plain page. Print or save a copy for your records.

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs use of QREL Nodes (the "Software"), including the Master and Track plugin components and any associated installers, documentation, or update payloads provided by QREL.

1. License grant

By installing or using the Software, you agree that the Software is licensed, not sold. Subject to the activation limits tied to your license and to your compliance with this EULA, you may install and use the Software for your own music production, mixing, mastering, sound design, post-production, broadcast, and related creative work — commercial or otherwise.

A Solo license permits activation on up to two (2) machines at any one time. A Studio license permits up to five (5) machines. Activations are movable: deactivate from the license panel on a machine you no longer use, and the seat becomes available immediately.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Software to a third party, except as part of a permanent transfer of all your QREL licenses to a single recipient (notify [email protected] in advance).
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract proprietary source code, algorithms, signing keys, activation-server code, or internal processing details from the Software, except where applicable law expressly allows such activity (e.g. for narrow interoperability purposes under EU Directive 2009/24/EC).
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with the activation system, watermarking, or any usage-restriction mechanism in the Software.
  • Use the Software to develop a competing product that re-implements its analysis or balancing algorithms.

3. Money-back guarantee

QREL Nodes v1 does not include a separate trial license. Instead, every purchase is covered by a 14-calendar-day money-back guarantee: install the Software, evaluate it against your own work, and if it doesn't earn its keep within the guarantee window, request a refund and your license is revoked at no further obligation. The full refund process and timing are documented in the Refund Policy.

The Software never hard-mutes audio on account of license state. If your license is revoked (whether by refund, deactivation, or expiry), the plugin falls back to Analyze-Only mode — sessions continue to open, visual diagnostics continue to work, and existing renders are unaffected.

4. Refunds

You may request a refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase by writing to [email protected] with your order ID. Refunds are processed through your original payment method via Paddle as merchant of record. After fourteen days, refunds are at QREL's discretion (see the Refund Policy for the discretionary path).

5. Updates and future versions

Your license entitles you to all bug-fix and feature point releases within the version branch you purchased (1.x, 2.x, etc.). Major version upgrades (1.x → 2.x) may require a paid upgrade priced at QREL's discretion and offered at a discount to existing license holders.

6. No warranty

The Software is provided as professional audio software. You remain responsible for listening decisions, final deliverables, compliance with your DAW or platform requirements, and backups of your sessions and project files.

The Software is provided "as is" without a guarantee that any particular mix will meet a specific artistic, commercial, broadcast, streaming, or platform standard. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QREL disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QREL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to this EULA or the Software — even if QREL has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

QREL's total cumulative liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you actually paid for the license in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Third-party components

The Software includes third-party open-source components. Their licenses and notices are included with the installer and reproduced in Third-Party-Notices.txt inside the Software bundle.

9. Privacy

See the Privacy Policy for the precise data the Software and the activation service exchange. The Software does not phone home during normal use; the activation handshake is the only network interaction.

10. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach any of its terms. On termination you must uninstall the Software and destroy any backup copies. Sections 2, 6, 7, 8, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

QREL Nodes is developed and licensed by Quinn Joseph, a sole trader registered in St Kitts and Nevis (operating as "QREL"). This EULA is governed by the laws of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Saint Kitts and Nevis. If any provision of this EULA is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights under your own jurisdiction's law (including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the EU Consumer Rights Directive, and equivalent legislation).

12. Contact

Questions about this EULA: [email protected].

This page is a human-readable presentation of the same EULA shipped inside the installer (docs/QREL_EULA.txt). If there is any conflict, the version included in the installer at the time of your purchase governs.
